We are seeking an experienced Automation and Control Engineer to oversee all automation and control systems that regulate our paint and sealant manufacturing operations s critical role ensures equipment reliability, minimizes downtime, and drives continuous improvement across our production processes.
As the site technical expert, you will manage programming, servicing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for PLCs, SCADA systems, HMIs, electrical controls, and related infrastructure. You will also lead vendor management, develop documentation, and implement strategies to optimize system performance and future‑proof our operations.
What You’ll Do- Lead all PLC, SCADA, HMI, and electrical control programming, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Act as the site technical expert, supporting and training engineering teams.
- Manage vendor contracts and drive self‑sufficiency initiatives.
- Deliver projects from concept to commissioning, improving plant performance and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and provide remote support when needed.
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in automation and controls.
- 5+ years in engineering / maintenance with PLC / SCADA exposure.
- Strong PLC / SCADA skills (Allen‑Bradley, Siemens, Rockwell).
