We are a leading civil engineering organisation delivering safe, sustainable, and efficient transport solutions across the UK. We are looking for a Project Manager to help us deliver highways and roads projects in Yorkshire.
Responsibilities- Leading customer‑focused project teams to exceed expectations, ensuring high‑quality, timely project delivery.
- Fostering strong engagement with stakeholders and local communities to create positive project outcomes.
- Ensuring strict compliance with industry standards, contracts and governance processes.
- Driving financial performance through effective cost control, accurate forecasting and profit accountability.
- Promoting a culture of safety, professionalism and continuous improvement across all levels of the team.
- Mentoring and developing team members, sharing best practices to enhance skills and project outcomes.

- Commercial awareness and good knowledge of programming and contract terms. Familiarity with NEC 4 contracts and an understanding of how project and package P&L impacts corporate finances.
- Experience working for a tier 1 contractor and managing a project portfolio up to £15 million.
- Degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture or a related field, professional certification in project management, or relevant experience.
- Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma Methodologies is an advantage.
- Significant experience in highways construction, specifically road building and drainage systems.
- Strong knowledge of NEC or ICE contract conditions and programme management.
- SMSTS certification and a valid CSCS card.
