Job Description
Glanua Ltd is a progressive organisation in the water and wastewater industry. Due to continued success in the Business, the company is expanding with several dynamic and exciting roles. They are looking to recruit a BIM Coordinator to work on large-scale water and wastewater infrastructure projects. The role will be site‑based and located in Sheffield. The BIM coordinator’s primary focus is coordinating BIM deliverables to ensure the successful delivery of client requirements throughout all project phases.
The role will primarily be office‑based but will require site visits occasionally to report on the project’s progress and verify that information requirements are being captured and linked to the project Information Model. The successful candidate will work within the Glanua digital delivery team to consistently achieve quality deliverables across our project portfolio.
Responsibilities include monitoring the quality of information being shared on the project CDE, confirming that all deliverables comply with the BEP&EIR to ensure they align with Glanua’s digital delivery strategy, and reporting on non‑conformance, offering corrective guidance to the project team.

- Keen interest in innovation and emerging technologies
- Experience in Revit model and drawing development, including Family Creation
- Experience in Navisworks Manage is essential
- Experience in Synchro Pro is desirable
- Experience in setup and management of ACC or Project Wise is desirable
- Experience in coordination and clash detection procedures is desirable
- Experience coordinating handover is desirable
- Experience working to timelines in a project environment
- Ability to work off their initiative and as part of a project team
- During the detailed design phase, ensure models are developed in line with the project BEP and Clients’ EIR.
- Monitor the development of information through the design stage and into construction, continually coordinating multi‑discipline 3D models, ensuring the potential for onsite clashes and rework are removed before commencement on site.
- Work as part of a team in delivering one or more projects at any time, embracing the ethos of a “one team” culture.
- Develop multi‑discipline models and drawings using Autodesk Revit in compliance with project‑specific requirements.
- Assist in the production of bespoke Revit families.
- Manage model warnings and ensure data is structured correctly within the model to allow data extraction.
- Check model coordination throughout all phases of the project.
- Track clashes and communicate the same to the Project design lead through accurate reporting.
