Senior Team Lead – M365 Backup Architect

M365 Backup Design Architect – 3 days onsite in Sheffield, weekly visits, IR35.

Whitehall Resources is seeking an experienced M365 Backup Architect to lead the architecture and strategy for Rubrik M365 backup implementation across enterprise tenant.

• Overall architecture and strategy for Rubrik M365 backup implementation.
• Define end‑to‑end backup architecture for Microsoft 365 workloads (Exchange, SharePoint, One Drive, Teams).
• Design high‑availability and recovery strategies.
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.
• Capacity planning for 350k users and petabyte‑scale data.
• Integrate Rubrik with existing infrastructure and identity management.
• Provide technical leadership and governance throughout the project lifecycle.

• 8‑10+ years in Microsoft 365 with proven delivery of tenant backups at enterprise scale.
• Deep expertise in Rubrik Enterprise Backup solutions (or other tenant backup software).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 architecture and APIs.
• Experience with large‑scale enterprise deployments.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (GDPR, financial regulations).
• Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation skills.
