Project coordinator

SCX is a UK-based engineering company known for delivering complex mechanical handling and kinetic architecture systems across Defence, Aerospace, Nuclear, Sports & Entertainment, and Infrastructure sectors.

Purpose of the Role The Project Coordinator supports Project Managers and delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring smooth coordination, clear communication, and successful execution.

• Assist with project planning, schedules, and milestones.
• Act as a communication link between clients, stakeholders, contractors, and teams.
• Support budget tracking, resource allocation, and forecasting.
• Help identify risks/issues and escalate as needed.
• Maintain documentation, KPIs, and prepare reports.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and company policies.
• Coordinate team tasks and support project execution.
• Manage change control processes and client communications.

• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience in engineering or project delivery environments preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
• Detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities.
• Collaborative team player.
