BIM Coordinator - (Wastewater Treatment Projects)

Glanua is an industry leader providing innovative and sustainable engineering solutions to design, build, operate and maintain critical water and wastewater infrastructure across Ireland and the UK. We serve major clients such as Irish Water, Thames Water, Yorkshire Water, United Utilities and Affinity Water.

Glanua Ltd is expanding its digital delivery team to support large‑scale water and wastewater infrastructure projects in Sheffield. The BIM Coordinator will primarily work from our office but conduct site visits as required. The position focuses on coordinating BIM deliverables throughout all project phases, ensuring information quality, compliance with the BEP & EIR, and successful handover.

• Experience in Revit model and drawing development, including family creation.
• Experience with Navisworks Manage (essential) and Synchro Pro (desirable).
• Experience with ACC or Project Wise setup and management (desirable).
• Experience in coordination and clash detection procedures and handover (desirable).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a project team.

• In the design stage, develop multi‑discipline models and drawings in Autodesk Revit; produce bespoke Revit families; manage model warnings.
• Coordinate model coordination, track clashes, and report to the design lead.
• Maintain consistent information exchange formats (Revit, DWG, IFC, PDF, NWC & NWD) on the CDE.
• Support the creation of BIM Execution Plans (BEP), TIDPs, MIDPs and responsibility matrices.
• Coordinate digital deliverables to support a structured handover and asset information capture.
• During construction, ensure constant communication with site, capture site activity on the CDE, update the BIM model with as‑built information and point‑cloud surveys.
• Ensure model matches site progress, record equipment data, and verify below‑ground data.
• Align MIDP with the construction programme and support client asset management requirements.
• Keep O&M and safety files up to date and deliver structured digital handover.

• 3rd‑level qualification in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical or Construction Management, or equivalent technical background.
• Advanced skills in AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD Plant 3D, Autodesk Revit, Synchro 4D and Navisworks.
• Experience with MS Excel, Power BI, Dynamo and BIM 360 is desirable.
• Self‑starter, motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated to learning and advancing in digital engineering.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work both individually and within multi‑discipline teams.
• Understanding of coordination issues communication to design leads.
• Knowledge of BIM standards (ISO 19650/PAS
  1192) is desirable.
• Previous experience coordinating handover documentation is desirable.
