We are looking for an Estimator with experience within the Civil Engineering sector for a permanent based with our client on Sheffield.

Immediate start available (subject to interview).

Salary is circa £50,000 per annum (depending on experience).

Given the nature of the work, there will be site visits involved.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background as an Estimator within the civil engineering industry and have experience pricing tenders from first principles.

Experience with in the structural/mechanical sectors is essential.

• Develop estimates at all stages of the project life cycle from feasibility and concept through to detailed design.
• Lead on the development of estimating strategies and present to senior stakeholders both internal and external.
• Preparation of the detailed scope/drawings from drawings and specifications.
• Prepare material/sub-contract requirements for sourcing and pricing.
• Focus on value-engineering throughout the bid stage design process.
• Contribute to the identification of risk and pricing of risks throughout bids.
• Attend client meetings throughout the tender process where appropriate.
• Work on tenders from first principles.
• Present tenders at bid team meetings/client presentations.
