Finance Director

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Finance Director to join a well-established business. Reporting to the Managing Director, the Finance Director will be responsible for ensuring the financial viability of the company while supporting strategic growth across all departments.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the finance and accounting strategy to optimise financial performance

* Provide strategic financial guidance to the MD and senior leadership team

* Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial controls

* Ensure accurate and timely management accounts and board reporting

* Manage financial risk and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements

* Lead, develop, and performance-manage the finance team

* Support business growth initiatives and system improvements

Requirements:

* Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent)

* Current member of CIMA/ACCA or equivalent

* Member of IoD, CMI or equivalent professional body

* Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification experience

* Proven experience managing multi-million-pound budgets

* Experience working at board/SLT level

* Background in manufacturing or engineering preferred

* Strong leadership, commercial awareness, and strategic mindset
