Assistant Management Accountant

Sharp Consultancy is delighted to be working alongside one of the area’s leading manufacturing and engineering businesses as they seek to appoint a new Management Accountant to their team.

This role offers significant progression opportunities, providing a Part Qualified individual with exposure and the next steps towards becoming a fully qualified accountant.

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Group reporting
• Monthly analysis and commentary to identify variances and discuss necessary actions
• Ensure accurate costing reporting, liaising with the production team
• Preparation of annual budgets and reforestation
• Maintain the fixed assets register and post depreciation
• Participate in process improvements and system implementations
• Preparation of VAT returns and EU Intrastat reporting
• Assist with foreign currency hedging and cash flow management

• Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA
• Strong MS Excel skills
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
