This role would be ideal for someone who's making a second move from Practice, or someone looking for a step up from their current financial/group accountant role that can offer more responsibilities, variety and further career development.
What will you be doing?
Assisting with month-end management reporting
Preparation of annual statutory accounts
Act as a point of contact during the annual audit and R&D return processes
Ensure timely balance sheet reconciliations (sales ledger, CAPEX, control accounts)
Maintain and optimise intercompany reconciliations
Support the reconciliation of fixed asset registers across five entities
Assist with preparation of monthly/quarterly VAT/GST/sales tax returns
What skills are we looking for?
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA)
Experience working within a large group business structure
Thorough understanding statutory reporting
Technical knowledge and excellent eye for detail
Clear communication and experience working closely with non-finance colleagues
Practice trained candidate
