Senior Rehabilitation Physiotherapist (FTC) Job Summary

Main duties of the job:
As a Physiotherapist at STEPS, you are not only restoring movement and function, but also enabling clients to regain independence, confidence and quality of life.

- Assess, implement and monitor individual rehabilitation plans for our clients.
- Involve clients and carers in the development and delivery and accurate recording of goals within the rehabilitation plan.
- Accurate recording and monitoring of outcome measures.
- Play an active part in client review meetings, including completing reports to a high standard and in a timely manner.
- Be involved as a key worker for nominated clients.
- Provide clinical leadership, support and guidance to other STEPS team members.
- Act upon and escalate issues as required following STEPS guidance and operating procedures.
- Be compliant with clinical governance requirements operating within STEPS procedures.
- Be involved in clinical audits as and when directed.
- Contribute and lead on specific projects related to service delivery e.g. quality programmes, education and training and contributing to the setting and monitoring of practice standards.
- In conjunction with the wider interdisciplinary team ensure personal care and nutritional needs of clients are met, dealing with emergencies as required.
- Undertake duties and responsibilities as defined in the work plan.
