Key Responsibilities

  • Team management:
    Leading and supervising a team of professionals, including social workers, counselors, and support staff. This involves providing guidance, support, and performance management to ensure the team’s effectiveness.
  • Service delivery:
    Overseeing the delivery of services and support to children and families, ensuring they are aligned with legal requirements, policies, and best practices. This includes monitoring service quality, evaluating outcomes, and making necessary improvements.

    Keeping up-to-date with relevant legislation, policies, and guidelines related to child welfare and services. Developing and implementing local policies and procedures to ensure compliance and adherence to standards.
  • Safeguarding and risk management:
    Ensuring the safety and well-being of children by implementing robust safeguarding procedures, risk assessments, and appropriate interventions when necessary.

    Identifying training needs and supporting the professional development of staff, enabling them to deliver high-quality services and stay updated with best practices

There will be a charge payable by the applicant for the completion of a DBS check which is currently (2022) £52.00. It is essential that you complete all parts of the application form and sign where indicated.

We will accept a typed name and date when submitting your application form via email, however you will be asked to add your handwritten signature if invited to interview. Failure to fully complete all parts and declarations will invalidate your application.
