As an HPC Compute Engineer, you will design, optimise, and maintain HPC infrastructure that powers next‑generation software solutions. You'll collaborate with developers and cross‑functional teams to ensure systems are scalable, reliable, and high‑performing.

• Design, deploy, and manage HPC clusters.
• Optimise systems for maximum performance and resource utilisation.
• Troubleshoot HPC systems and tools.
• Collaborate with developers for seamless software integration.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging HPC technologies and best practices.
• Conduct routine maintenance, updates, and capacity planning.

• HPC cluster management and scheduling tools (Slurm, PBS, Grid Engine).
• Linux system administration and shell scripting.
• Performance tuning for large‑scale compute systems.
• Parallel computing concepts (MPI, OpenMP).
• Networking protocols and HPC storage solutions.

• Cloud HPC (AWS Parallel Cluster, Azure Batch).
• Programming (Python, C++, or similar).
• Containerisation (Docker, Singularity).
• Experience with machine learning workflows in HPC.
