We’re looking for a Service Information Officer to join our team and play a key role in delivering accurate, timely, and engaging customer-facing service information across multiple channels. From printed materials and on‑street displays to digital platforms like our website and mobile app, you’ll ensure our customers have the information they need—when they need it.

About the role

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of how we communicate with our customers. You’ll take ownership of producing and maintaining service information that is clear, accurate, and accessible—whether it’s a printed timetable, an eINK display, or a digital update on our app. Your work will directly impact customer experience and satisfaction, making public transport easier and more reliable for everyone.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Produce and maintain customer information products across print, electronic, and digital channels, meeting operational deadlines and service changes.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on all published materials, ensuring accuracy and consistency in design and content.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to coordinate production requests and updates for websites, apps, and printed materials.
  • Use data analysis to drive targeted updates and improvements to customer-facing information.
  • Develop new and improved products based on customer feedback and emerging technologies.
  • Ensure GIS data accuracy for mapping outputs and service information delivery.
About you

We’re seeking someone who combines technical know‑how with creative flair. You’ll need to be detail-oriented, able to manage multiple deadlines, and passionate about delivering high‑quality information that makes a real difference to customers. If you enjoy problem‑solving, working collaboratively, and using design tools to create clear and engaging content, this role is for you.

About you:

  • HNC level qualification in Graphic Design or equivalent industry experience.
  • Strong understanding of public transport timetables and map‑based information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and professional design software (e.g., Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Experience producing customer-facing literature and working in a service delivery environment.
  • Ability to present complex information in a clear, attractive, and accessible format.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
