We are looking for an energetic and dynamic person to join the E&B Systems Team. This is a permanent role within our development team. The role will give you the opportunity to experience a wide variety of work and develop widely transferable skills. We focus on the support and delivery of technical digital solutions to address business problems and to support major digital transformation.

We want someone who understands how digital tools can help our regulatory work and how we can build and support solutions to help our staff in their front-line work. We need a flexible individual who can manage themselves, lead on technical development areas and solutions, and comfortably work in dispersed project groups.

The team is a dispersed, flexible resource working across digital and business activity areas. We provide digital product development and configuration services, a support service to Operations staff, covering our business systems and technologies, and contribute to cross‑cutting and high‑risk projects. We deliver innovative, integrated outcomes and connect the business to the IT needed to deliver benefits for the environment. We provide a critical intelligent client role in digital IT services and operational activities.

• Skills in digital product management or experience as an environment practitioner.
• Comfortable with tools such as Power Platform, SharePoint, DCP (Document Core Pack), Canvas Apps, Microsoft Access and application configuration.
• Ability to address the needs of internal and external customers, understand business problems and develop innovative solutions.
• Strong technical skills and ability to convey understanding to non‑technical clients.
• Skilled in collaborating with customers and sustaining partner relationships.

Location is flexible. Infrequent travel for some meetings in Bristol/Birmingham is required.
