Are you ready to step into a BI Lead position where your work directly impacts communities across the UK?

This organisation has partnered with household names like Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, and Salesforce to deliver food and support at scale and now they’re investing heavily in data to drive the next stage of growth.

Role:

As the BI Lead
, you’ll take ownership of the cloud data platform and shape the future of data strategy post‑merger. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll:

• Architect and evolve Data Warehouse and Lakehouse solutions.
• Own and develop the organisation’s Power BI environment
  , enabling self‑service analytics and reporting.
• Build and maintain robust data pipelines, models, and semantic layers.
• Set technical direction, mentor a small team, and champion best practice in modern data engineering.
• Stay hands‑on while shaping the roadmap for scalable, cost‑effective data platforms.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience with Data Warehousing, Lakehouse architecture, and Power BI
  .
• Hands‑on expertise in SQL and data modelling best practices.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric is highly desirable.
• Background in Azure‑based platforms and modern data engineering patterns.
• Experience leading or mentoring engineers/analysts.
• Excellent communication skills to engage both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
