Join Our Team as a Maintenance Operative!

Bailey Street, Sheffield

Temporary 2 days only (maybe longer)

Monday 5th Jan 10am - 5pm

Monday 13th Jan 10am - 5pm

£14 per hour

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of buildings and facilities.
• Perform repairs on plumbing, electrical systems, and general fixtures.
• Ensure all equipment is in excellent working order.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Keep records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall guest experience.

• Proven experience in maintenance or a related field.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proactive approach to tasks and a positive attitude.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations.

• Resolve leaks in kitchens and bathrooms.
• Replace faulty sensors in rooms and communal areas.
• Replace defective light bulbs.
• Replace damaged electrical sockets.
• Repair or replace faulty electrical appliances.
• Safely handle and use chemicals (e.g., descaling shower heads).
• Replace door locks and locking mechanisms.
• Repair or replace winder blinds.
• Remove overgrown planters in the garden.
