Project Director - Main Contractor

Are you an experienced Project Director, with background working for a Main Contractor?

Approach Personnel are proud to be partnered with an industry-leading, Tier 1 Main Contractor, who are currently on the lookout for a Project Director to join them on a permanent basis, out of their Yorkshire based office. As a Project Director, you will be responsible for overseeing our larger construction projects costing £25m+ and liaising with our clients and stakeholders.

What are we looking for?

* Prior experience working as a Project Director/Senior Project Manager for a Tier 1 Main Contractor is ESSENTIAL.

* Ideally, NVQ Level 7 in Construction Management.

* Fantastic communication skills & Leadership abilities.

* Strong background in client & relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and execute our construction projects exceeding the value of £25m

* Oversee project development, ensuring compliance with company policies and sustainability efforts.

* Provide technical input for tenders, including construction insight & value engineering.

* Develop and maintain a network of contacts, ensuring an excellent level of service and customer satisfaction.

* Support and guide colleagues, ensuring their professional development and adherence to their role.

* Identify issues proactively, maintain confidentiality & keep the businesses best interests at heart.
