Are you seeking a role providing a first‑class service while ensuring the safe and efficient running of our yard? In this Yard Manager/Supervisor role you will be responsible for leading and inspiring our yard team—the front line that deals with customers coming into our yard. Health & Safety will be your primary focus every day, while building long‑lasting relationships and going above and beyond to provide great service to our customers.

We are Travis Perkins, the UK’s largest builders merchant, and this role may be perfect for you.

You will be working alongside great individuals on our branch, which has a fantastic dedicated team. Your working hours are Monday to Friday 07:30–17:00 and alternate Saturdays 08:00–12:00.

You don’t need an in‑depth knowledge of builders’ merchants to join the team; we’ll provide coaching and training to get you up to speed and give you confidence to deliver the exceptional service we expect. Experience managing, supervising or coaching a team is required, and a background in a yard or warehouse is extremely advantageous.

You will be based outside, responsible for leading and inspiring our yard team who are on the front line dealing with customers that come into our yard.
