CNC Programmer
Location:
Sheffield, United Kingdom
Salary:
Up to £53,000
Role Overview
We are recruiting a proactive and experienced CNC Programmer to support our client’s operational team in Sheffield. This individual will play a vital role in enhancing manufacturing efficiency and supporting production teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, implement, and optimise manufacturing processes.
* Lead and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S principles.
* Create 3D models and produce 2D technical drawings.
* Generate CNC programmes.
* Develop routing plans for component flow through machine shops.
* Support projects, including custom design work.
About You
* Proficient in offline CNC programming
* Experience with CAD/CAM and CNC programming
* Skilled in creating 3D models and manufacturing drawings
* Experience using programme verification tools
* Solid understanding of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles
