Metal Sorter - Tankersley Area

Permanent Role | Direct with the Company | Immediate Start

Stafforce is recruiting on behalf of a long‑standing metals business in the Tankersley area.

You’ll be going straight onto a permanent contract with the company and getting:

• 5% company pension contribution

You’ll be hands‑on in a busy processing environment, identifying and sorting metals accurately while keeping operations smooth and safe. If you like staying active and being part of a solid team, this role is a total fit.

• Sorting and identifying various metal grades
• Using XRF analysis equipment to confirm metal composition
• Carrying out visual checks and basic testing
• Helping with yard duties - loading, unloading, general support
• Operating machinery/equipment (training provided)
• Keeping the work area clean, safe, and compliant
• Reporting any issues quickly and working with the team to hit targets

• Experience using XRF analysis tools - essential
• Sharp attention to detail
• Happy working in an industrial/yard environment
• Reliable, proactive, and team‑focused
• Experience in metals, recycling, or warehousing = big bonus
• FLT licence is helpful but not essential
