Exciting role for creative individuals, particularly those with lived experience or our allies.
What will you be doing?- To educate and raise awareness among our listeners inspiring them to engage in other aspects of our work.
- Collaborate with team members to address sexual violence.
- Discuss topics that address our wellbeing, success, and contribution to society following subjection to sexual violence.
- Introduce innovative areas for debate.
- Explore new legislation or policies impacting on this area.
- Introduce work that addresses our mission to ensure that autistic survivors are believed and supported to recover and move on with their lives.
- Discuss relevant topics with team members.
- Research current issues impacting on the wellbeing of autistic survivors.
- Introduce a diversity of guests.
- Keep abreast of current topics in this field so as to inform material.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
- Previous experience of leading conversations (support provided if not).
- Creative flair.
- Ability to engage in topical 1‑1 or panel debates.
- Ability to run focused discussions (support provided).
- Ability to identify potential individuals for discussions.
- Confidence at liaising with team members.
- Ability to carry out research into current topics.
- Knowledge of the podcasting process and ability to produce one efficiently.
- Understanding of the need for confidentiality.
- Understanding of the need for sensitivity.
- Your expertise through topics selected for discussion will engage our audience (beneficiaries and others) and increase awareness of the needs of autistic survivors.
- By reacting to requests from beneficiaries, you will respond to the needs of our local communities and help us fulfill our CIC requirement.
- Through selecting a range of 1‑1 and panel discussions, you will stimulate thought and discussion regarding sensitive issues and open up debate regarding future topics.
- By researching current political and societal issues, you will enable our organisation to remain abreast of debate in the matter of sexual violence and its impact on autistic survivors.
- You will be able to draw on all members of the team for their input into your work.
