Position: Sales Account Manager (Permanent)
Sales Account Manager– £25,000-£35,000 DOE– Sheffield

The Role

If you like variety, responsibility and being part of a close-knit branch, this Sales Account Manager role with JAB Electrical Wholesale could be ideal for you. It’s mainly a branch-based position where you’ll mix customer service, proactive sales and day-to-day operational support.

You’ll serve customers on the trade counter, help book in stock, support deliveries and keeping things running smoothly. If you enjoy staying busy and being involved in everything, you’ll feel right at home.

You’ll also take the lead on driving new business. That means cold-calling, following up on leads, researching opportunities and growing your own accounts. You’ll build strong relationships over the phone and really get to know your customers’ needs.

Occasional customer visits will be part of the role, but only as needed to support your sales activity. A company van is available for these — this is not a field-based role and does not come with a company car.

Your success is rewarded: the more new business you bring in, the more you’ll earn through a monthly bonus scheme based on paid invoices from your accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and grow existing B2B customer accounts.
Identify and develop new business opportunities.
Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
Follow up on leads and cold-call potential clients.
Lead negotiations and close deals to achieve sales targets.
Support branch operations, including opening/closing, trade counter, deliveries, and restocking.
Work collaboratively with the team across all areas of the business.

The Person

Proven experience in B2B sales with a successful track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proactive, resilient, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Trustworthy, responsible, and organised, with experience leading or guiding others.
Motivated by results and keen to drive sales growth while building lasting client relationships
