OEM Account Manager Building Envelope - North UK
Become the trusted technical and commercial bridge to one of the UK's leading window, door, cladding and roofing OEMs: own Tier-1 relationships, drive “designed‑in” BIM‑compliant specifications, block competitors, protect and grow market share. Working hand‑in‑hand with Product Management and National Sales, you’ll shape the next generation of rainscreen, sub‑frame, fall‑protection and flat‑roofing solutions, turning deep R&D partnerships and sharp market intelligence into real organic growth and new‑market wins.

- Work closely with Head of OEM, Product Managers and Market Development Director to ensure clear product and technical application of all Building Envelope product lines is clearly understood in order to manage and develop future generation plans.
- Work with the Head of OEM to create integral working relationships with all OEMs across the Building Envelope product lines and act as responsible in the absence of the Head of OEM.
- Become a trusted “consultant” to all key OEMs both in their R&D, technical and senior commercial teams.
- Deliver integrated “designed‑in” system application/specifications, including all aspects of the OEM approach to market, i.e. BIM, standards, application testing, warranties etc.
- Work closely with the Roofing & Cladding, Sub Frame, Fall Protection & Flat Roofing commercial teams to execute and deliver the strategic opportunities secured and developed.
- Protect, secure and increase future market share through our OEM network.
- Block competitor market penetration into key OEMs.
- Develop new markets to broaden market reach.
- Responsibility for nominated Building Envelope OEM accounts.
- Take the lead role for all OEMs in the absence of the Head of OEM.
- Work extremely closely with the National Sales Managers – Building Envelope to ensure strategic OEM commercial strategies are leveraged/directed to secure increased invoiced sales.
- Maintain a close regular and professional working relationship with existing & prospective OEMs to maximise market share.
- Work extremely close with all Building Envelope Product Managers and Market Development Director to drive product innovation and new market growth.
- Proactively identify new market and product opportunities through your Business Development activities to drive/secure organic sales growth.
- Close collaboration with all Building Envelope product Managers to ensure relevant product information reaches the correct OEM.
- Provide strategic intelligence in support of identifying new product development opportunities.
- Work with internal stakeholders to maximise customer service levels and identify issues and solutions to continually enhance our customer service position.
- Work closely with the Technical team to guide/manage our “on Message” approach.
- Identify, monitor and feedback competitor/customer activity.
- Promptly and competently attend to all OEM enquiries or complaints.
- Report market intelligence or any information that will give an advantage over competitors.
- Provide activity and market reports to senior management as defined.
- Provide market intelligence to ensure the best level of customer service to the OEM sector is provided.
- Ensure clients are kept up to date with appropriate catalogues & samples.
- Be a proactive member of the team.

- Identify, develop and prospect new OEMs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills capable of creating relationships with stakeholders at all levels within the business.
