Salary

Hourly rate from £14.00 per hour while training. Increasing to £14.50 after training, then rising to £15.00 per hour after one year of service. Plus extra £1 per hour for unsociable hours. 50p per hour enhancement for all hours worked over 44 hours per week.

• Pay rate during training of £14.00 per hour (training will last 6–8 weeks)
• Annual earnings of £31,200 following completion of training based on 40 hours per week as a qualified Bus Driver
• Shift patterns of 5 days out of 7 per week

No experience driving a bus? No problem! We’ll pay you to train while we invest significantly in your training. You’ll gain your PCV licence as part of our Level 2 Bus Driver Apprenticeship, which will equip you with everything you need to not only succeed but flourish on the road. The apprenticeship gives you a structured training programme and an externally recognised qualification, with no impact on your role, pay or hours.

At our Ecclesfield depot, we operate a fleet of 59 buses covering the areas of Sheffield, Barnsley and Stocksbridge with a team of 150 Drivers.
