We are looking for a Mechanical Engineering Technician passionate about designing robotic end‑of‑arm tooling (EOAT) for handling a wide variety of products for palletizing applications. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, solution‑driven, and enjoys working in a collaborative environment where every project directly contributes to the company’s success.

Requirements
  • Requested Skills
  • College diploma (DEC) in Mechanical Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong proficiency in CAD software (Solid Works, AutoCAD)
  • Knowledge of machining, assembly, and mechanical fabrication processes
  • Ability to read, interpret, and produce technical drawings
  • Analytical mindset and attention to detail
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to communicate in both French and English
  • Assets
  • Experience in managing technical projects
  • Knowledge of automation and robotics
  • Familiarity with ERP systems
Key Responsibilities
  • Design industrial and collaborative robotic end‑of‑arm tooling (EOAT) tailored to customer products
  • Manufacture and test designed prototypes
  • Oversee the transition from prototype to production
  • Validate factory layouts by integrating our palletizing solutions
  • Create and update technical drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and production instructions
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to validate manufacturability and suggest improvements
  • Support the production team by resolving technical issues
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and tools
