AI & LLM Developer

About this position:

You’ll join the ELITS R&D Team, the core engineering organization responsible for evolving an Open Stack-based platform and surrounding services. The culture emphasizes servant leadership, self-leadership, and collaboration across distributed teams in Canada, Sweden, and beyond, fostering experimentation, open communication, and continuous learning.

Responsibilities:

Develop, deploy, and maintain AI Gateway and related AI/ML services.

• Implement integrations with Cloud Management System, Portal, and other internal or external platforms.

• Configure, deploy, and optimize LLMs and AI pipelines for production workloads.

• Collaborate with coworkers in the AI & Data team and other engineering groups to integrate AI services across the cloud platform.

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automation, and operational processes for AI services.

• Maintain and operate AI infrastructure on Linux systems with proper monitoring and observability.

• Develop services using TypeScript and Rust, with a strong willingness to learn Rust if not already experienced;
Python experience is also valued.

• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and documentation.

Requirements( Must have):

Strong experience with Type Script development.

• Basic proficiency in Rust and Python is preferred.

• Hands-on experience with LLM deployment, configuration, and usage.

• Knowledge of Linux systems,
SQL
, and Dev Ops practices.

• Familiarity with AI/ML service integration.

• Collaborative mindset for working in cross-functional teams.

Good to have (Merit skills):

Experience contributing to open-source AI/ML frameworks.

• Familiarity with cloud orchestration and containerization using Kubernetes and Docker
.

• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability for AI workloads.

Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience and training.

• Any relevant certifications are considered an asset.
