Purpose of the role:
Due to internal promotion, the opportunity has arisen for an individual who is looking to take the next step up in their Planning career with our client a leader in the Food Manufacturing industry. This is an incredible business opportunity where you will play a central role in communication between various Departments and have responsibility for planning and managing inventories, production batch control and raw materials

Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Production Planning Team to deliver accurate production plans to achieve customer order service levels.
Forecasting customer orders and planning a production schedule for the day.
Capacity/Promotional Planning. Maximise use of products obtaining high yields and low waste.
Communicating with Production Managers to inform of the production plans and explain any anomalies.
Efficiently deploy and manage departmental resource.
To manage, maintain, monitor and improve upon Key Performance.
Indicators and standards expected. Attend regular internal and external meetings.
Analysis of data, providing regular reports. Coach, mentor and develop the Planning Team.
You will ideally have proven experience working within a Food /FMCG Production Manufacturing environment and be looking for the next step up in your career. You will possess excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment and be able to influence both Internal and External Stakeholders.
