Maintenance Engineer - Nights

Telford | Manufacturing | Permanent Nights (4 per week)

Up to £48,000 + Overtime + Excellent Benefits

Reporting to:
Engineering Manager

• Carrying out planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance on a wide range of production machinery.
• Troubleshooting both mechanical and electrical issues (roughly 50/50 bias).
• Keeping accurate maintenance records and ensuring all work meets Health & Safety and quality standards.
• Supporting machine upgrades, installations, and improvement projects.
• Working with production to reduce downtime and boost reliability.
• Maintaining a clean, organised workshop and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

• Multi-skilled engineer with solid mechanical and electrical fault-finding experience.
• Background in manufacturing or production environments.
• Confident working independently during night shifts.
• Good communicator, team-minded, and proactive in problem-solving.
• Qualified to NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline.

• 18th Edition wiring regulations certification.
• Experience in lean / continuous improvement environments (BRC, ISO, etc.).
• Familiarity with automated or packaging machinery is a bonus.
