Your work will directly support Deaf Reach to secure funding for education, skills training and community projects for deaf children and young people. As a small charity, successful bids have immediate impact, helping us sustain existing projects and develop new opportunities across Sub‑Saharan Africa.

• Experience in writing successful grant applications or persuasive writing.
• Strong research skills and the ability to identify suitable funding opportunities.
• Excellent written communication skills with attention to detail.
• An ability to work independently while collaborating with our team.
• Passion for making a positive difference to the lives of deaf children and young people.

Deaf Reach is seeking a Volunteer Bid Writer to help draft funding applications to trusts and foundations. Working closely with the Executive Officer, you’ll adapt existing project information into clear, persuasive bids. This role focuses on writing rather than research and is flexible to fit around your availability. Your work will directly support projects for deaf children and young people in Sub‑Saharan Africa.
