We’re looking for a Volunteer Coordinator to support and strengthen Deaf Reach’s volunteer programme. You’ll help onboard volunteers, keep people engaged and ensure roles are well supported, helping our small charity work effectively and sustainably.

Strong volunteer coordination helps Deaf Reach make best use of limited capacity. Your support will improve volunteer retention, clarity and morale, enabling our team to focus on delivering high-quality projects for deaf children and young people across Sub-Saharan Africa.

What are we looking for?

You should be organised, approachable and confident communicating with different people. Experience coordinating volunteers, teams or projects. Good organisational skills and a supportive, practical approach are most important. An interest in charity work or people-focused roles would be a bonus.

Deaf Reach is seeking a Volunteer Coordinator to help manage and support our growing volunteer team. You’ll assist with onboarding, role clarity, communication and light coordination across different volunteer roles. Working closely with the Executive Officer, this role helps ensure volunteers feel supported, valued and able to contribute effectively. The role is flexible and remote.
