We’re looking for a Grant Researcher to help Deaf Reach identify funding opportunities for projects supporting deaf children and young people in Sub-Saharan Africa. You’ll research trusts and foundations and help build a strong pipeline of funding prospects.
Your research will help Deaf Reach build a strong and realistic funding pipeline, enabling us to focus our limited capacity on the most suitable opportunities. This will directly support our ability to fund education, skills and community projects for deaf children and young people.
What are we looking for?
You should be comfortable carrying out online research and summarising information clearly. Good organisational skills and attention to detail are important. Experience of fundraising research. An interest in charity work, international development or disability inclusion would be a bonus.
What will you be doing?
Deaf Reach is seeking a Volunteer Grant Researcher to help identify trusts and foundations that align with our work. You’ll research funding opportunities, summarise key criteria and deadlines, and share findings with the Executive Officer and Bid Writer. This role focuses on research rather than writing and is flexible to fit around your availability.
