Shropshire / SY3Salary: £35k - £45k + benefits Our client, an innovative software solutions business with a base in Shropshire are looking for a talented Fullstack Developer to join their development team. The ideal person for this role will love solving problems, building robust and high quality systems and enjoy working in a collaborative and supportive team environment. This role is mostly remote with visits to the office 2 times per month for sprint reviews.
The Fullstack Developer will work across the front and back end, developing new features and improving existing functionality. Fullstack developer role -
- Building and maintaining full-stack features
- Developing clean, maintainable and scalable code
- Working with APIs, databases and third-party integrations
- Participating in code reviews and contributing to shared best practice
- Troubleshooting and improving existing features for performance and reliability
- Collaborating with developers and the wider team
- Writing unit tests and maintaining code quality
- Helping shape technical decisions and contributing ideas for improvement
- Solid commercial experience as a Full Stack Developer
- Strong front-end experience (React, Vue or similar modern framework)
- Strong back-end experience (Node.js, PHP, .NET, or similar)
- Good understanding of relational databases (MySQL)
- Experience designing, consuming and maintaining RESTful APIs
- Confidence with Git and version control workflows
- Understanding of security, performance and best practice
- Ability to solve problems independently and share solutions with the team
- Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical ideas clearly
- Knowledge of AWS or cloud-native architecture
- Experience with CI/CD, automated testing or Dev Ops tools
- You enjoy taking ownership of your work
- You're curious, pragmatic and happy to learn new technologies
- You're comfortable working in a collaborative, supportive environment
- You like solving real problems
