Class 2 Driver for temp‑perm position in Shrewsbury

Pure Staff are looking for an experienced Class 2 Driver to work alongside one of our clients in Shrewsbury on a temp‑perm basis.

Monday to Friday £14.50ph.

Please note, the above rate quoted does not include holiday pay as that is paid separately when you book holiday. Your hourly pay rate is £14.50, and you will accrue £1.75 per hour in holiday pay for every hour worked, which is banked and paid to you when you take annual leave. We do this to make sure our drivers are fairly paid and encouraged to take proper time off work as we believe regular rest is essential for safety and mental wellbeing of all workers.

• Collection of used tyres
• From 1‑8 collections per shift; between 50 and 100 tyres per collection
• Loading the lorry at each collection on your own
• Offloading at depot with assistance
• Manual handling and heavy handball on all routes
• Flexibility to drive anything from 7.5t to 32t lorries
• Monday to Friday working week
• Day shifts – start time will be between 6am and 7am each day

• Have a valid HGV Class 2 Driving License
• 3 months experience required
• Drivers will need to be physically fit due to nature of the job
• Valid CPC Card
• Valid Digital Card
• Clean Driving License with no more than 6 points (No TT TS MS DR DD codes)
