Salary:
Up to £65k-£85k per annum (depending on experience).
Location:
Sidcup – covering London and the City.
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Senior Electrical Estimator to join our professional and growing team. This is a client‑facing position that blends technical expertise, project management and commercial acumen. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate quotations, managing projects from inception to completion, and ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. While primarily focused on electrical works, an understanding of general building and site works would be highly beneficial.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare accurate quotations and estimates for commercial electrical projects, including testing, maintenance and small works.
- Manage electrical contracts from initial enquiry through to completion.
- Conduct site surveys and liaise directly with clients to assess requirements and provide technical and commercial advice.
- Coordinate and supervise on‑site teams, ensuring all works are delivered on time, within budget and to specification.
- Manage project budgets, procurement and resource planning effectively.
- Ensure full compliance with electrical, building and Health & Safety regulations.
- Maintain and develop strong, long‑term client and supplier relationships.
- Support business growth by identifying opportunities for service improvement and client value.
- Fully qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
- Proven experience in quoting, estimating and managing commercial electrical contracts.
- Strong background in commercial installations, testing and maintenance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and client relationship skills.
- Solid understanding of current electrical regulations and industry best practices.
- A good grasp of general building and site works would be advantageous.
- Full UK driving licence required.
