Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and qualified Senior Electrical Estimator to join our professional and growing team.
This is a client‑facing position that blends technical expertise, project management, and commercial acumen
. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate quotations, managing projects from inception to completion, and ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards
.
While primarily focused on electrical works,
an understanding of general building and site works would be highly beneficial
, as many of our projects involve close coordination with other trades and construction teams.
- Prepare accurate quotations and estimates for commercial electrical projects, including testing, maintenance, and small works.
- Manage electrical contracts from initial enquiry through to completion.
- Conduct site surveys and liaise directly with clients to assess requirements and provide both technical and commercial advice.
- Coordinate and supervise on‑site teams, ensuring all works are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.
- Manage project budgets, procurement, and resource planning effectively.
- Ensure full compliance with electrical, building, and Health & Safety regulations
. - Maintain and develop strong, long‑term client and supplier relationships
. - Support business growth by identifying opportunities for service improvement and client value.
- Fully qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
- Proven experience in quoting, estimating, and managing commercial electrical contracts.
- Strong background in commercial installations, testing, and maintenance
. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills.
- Solid understanding of current electrical regulations and industry best practices
. - A good grasp of general building and site works would be advantageous.
- Full UK driving licence required.
