Data Centre Infrastructure Engineer – Singapore Government Projects

As part of Oracle's Customer Success Services organization, the Data Centre Infrastructure Engineer focuses on supporting Singapore government projects involving data center systems hardware activities, including rack and stack, cabling work, server hardware, and other appliance deployment and decommissioning. Responsibilities include inventory management, troubleshooting, and providing technical support at customer sites.

• Provide a high level of customer satisfaction through effective delivery of technical onsite support and installations, including break‑fix tasks, hardware product and software installations, site planning, problem escalation, and managing installations.
• Install, configure and maintain Oracle’s technologies and products.
• Support data centre activities in the Oracle Cloud environment: rack and stack, cabling work, server hardware and appliance deployment/decommission, inventory management controls (scanning, reconciliation), troubleshoot offline/downed server issues, and manage inbound/outbound shipping tickets.
• Understand service processes and options.
• Solve problems for products where training has been completed and create action plans for further analysis as experience increases.
• Assist in developing, reviewing, and implementing hardware installation plans.
• Work primarily at customer sites or data centers.
• Commit to a 7×24‑hour participation in the regional/country standby rotation program or shift work.

• Singapore-born citizen with cleared Cat 1 “G50 Security Clearance” to work on Singapore government projects.
• Hands‑on knowledge and expertise of Oracle’s technologies.
• Experience in rack and stack, cabling, server hardware, appliance deployment/decommission, inventory management, and troubleshooting offline/downed servers.
• Ability to work 7×24‑hour standby or shift rotations.
