About the team

Join Airwallex’s Global Revenue Strategy team, a high‑impact group at the heart of our commercial engine. We partner closely with sales, marketing, product, and leadership to drive revenue growth, optimize go‑to‑market strategies, and build scalable processes. What you’ll do

As a Solutions Architect, you will be the technical quarterback for our most strategic enterprise deals, shepherding opportunities from discovery through to successful implementation. You’ll work cross‑functionally with commercial, product, and engineering teams to design and deliver innovative, AI‑driven fintech solutions that address complex customer needs. You’ll play a pivotal role in product sales, leading technical conversations, walking through demos, and guiding clients through API integrations.

Your expertise will help shape our product roadmap and ensure our solutions deliver real business value at scale.

Responsibilities
  • Lead technical discovery and solution design for enterprise clients, translating business goals into robust, scalable architectures.

  • Serve as the technical expert in sales engagements, delivering product demonstrations, proof‑of‑concept projects, and technical presentations.

  • Oversee and guide API integrations, ensuring seamless connectivity between client systems and Airwallex’s platform.

  • Act as the voice of the customer, providing feedback to product and engineering teams to inform product development and strategy.

  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to quarterback deals, ensuring alignment and successful delivery across all stakeholders.

  • Educate clients on AI and fintech capabilities, articulating how our solutions can drive business transformation.

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and security standards in all solution designs.

Who you are
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field.

  • 6+ years of experience in a customer‑facing technical role (e.g., Solutions Architect, Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer) within fintech, SaaS, or technology startups.

  • Proven experience in enterprise presales, product/engineering sales, and technical consulting.

  • Strong understanding of API integration patterns and best practices.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
