The Role
As a CBRE Maintenance Senior Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining medium to large-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. This role supports sitewide routine operation and maintenance (ad hoc, corrective, and preventive maintenance) of systems such as steam boilers, air compressors, chillers & cooling towers, air handling units, water softeners, purified water (RO & WFI), and wastewater systems. Power reset for the electrical distribution system may also be required.
All tasks will be performed in compliance with cGMP, EHS, Data Integrity, and regulatory requirements.
- Attend to technical matters and assist with inspections of facilities.
- Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and company directives related to building operations and practice safe work habits.
- Be available to respond to emergency breakdowns within two hours of notification.
- Perform hands‑on operation of facilities equipment and systems, where qualified or under instruction, in accordance with procedures and policies.
- Maintain facilities equipment and systems as appropriate to knowledge, skills, and certifications/licenses.
- Respond to complaints regarding ACMV, electrical, fire and plumbing systems and equipment.
- Supervise/perform in‑house preventive maintenance work and supervise preventive maintenance work by external service vendors in accordance with PM checklist and proper documentation of service reports.
- Maintain building aspects such as painting, lighting fittings, ACMV services, doors, furniture and fittings, road and grounds of facility or building.
- Provide daily operation support, update daily reports, and use Client’s CMMS system for work order reporting.
- Participate in problem‑solving discussions with cross‑functional teams to identify/root cause, evaluate alternative solutions, and develop action plans.
- Execute routine maintenance for the site in a timely manner and in compliance with engineering standards and safety procedures.
- Complete training provided to build‑up competencies.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing desired results/KPIs.
- Ensure all GMP documentation related to maintenance activities is completed accurately and processed to full completion in compliance with data integrity requirements.
- Carry out any other duties and responsibilities assigned by utilities engineer, including but not limited to the above.
- Minimum Diploma in Engineering.
- Boiler Certificate Class 1 / 2.
- At least 1 year of working experience in a similar role in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong understanding of facilities and utilities systems and process equipment related to validation/GMP requirements.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and information technology skills.
- Team player who can also perform independently.
- Able to multitask and work within tight deadlines.
