** Job Summary
** As a Technician ll under our
** Chemical Production Department**, you will be responsible for all the routine and non-routine processes of chemical formulations (Lens formulation materials, in-process solutions, in-package saline solutions) Operations in our Tuas Plant.
** In this role, a typical day will include:
*** Performs routine and non-routine processes in chemical production operations
* Helps manage and maintain chemical production calibration, documentation, inventory (i.e. cycle count), maintenance and compliance
* Assumes full responsibility in maintaining training on the required technical, quality compliance and safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
* Participates and/or initiate projects that improve process efficiency and/or reduce operating cost
* Knows, understands and complies with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) guidelines. Reports any unsafe conditions, injuries, illnesses and hazardous material releases
* Knowledgeable in safe handling of chemicals/waste disposal
* Supports implementation of Data Integrity (DI) Program for the site
** Job Requirement:
*** At least NITEC in Chemical Process Technology, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical and Life Sciences or equivalent
* At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing environment, production operations, GMP/GDP manufacturing or any other related manufacturing sectors.
* Comfortable to be lifting heavy weights
* Forklift Licence is an advantage
