• Operate welding and cutting tools for steel fabrication projects.
• Perform general maintenance and repairs on plant mechanical systems such as gearboxes, conveyors, elevators, pumps, compressors, and valves.
• Conduct failure analysis, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Carry out duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Follow company policies and work in accordance with HSE management systems.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the workplace.
• Attend safety meetings and contribute safety suggestions.
• Report unsafe conditions and act accordingly.
• Assist in designing safety equipment and guards.
• Perform regular maintenance on equipment considering safety aspects.
• Identify potential hazards and report unsafe conditions.
• Support ISO system duties as assigned.
• Ensure safe repair, fabrication, or maintenance of mechanical systems.
• Support the production plant on a 24-hour basis.

• Minimum NTC (Class II) Nitec certificate or equivalent, with 3-5 years of industrial experience.
• Adhere to safe work practices.
• Work well in a team and communicate effectively with plant personnel.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Knowledge of and ability to overhaul plant equipment such as furnace steel conveyor belts, rotating equipment, welding, and fabrication.
