Role Overview

As a Brand Ambassador at BBRC, you are the face and voice of our store concept. BBRC is not just another retail store — it is a space where curated Ivy and Americana menswear, utilitarian garments, niche running brands
, and accessories come together to form a unique lifestyle destination. Your mission is to bring this concept to life on the shop floor by:

• Creating memorable customer experiences
• Educating customers about the brands and stories behind them
• Styling full looks that reflect our aesthetic
• Helping to build a loyal community around BBRC

This is a role for someone passionate about culture, fashion, and connecting with people.

• Customer Experience & Styling
  • Provide personalised style advice and wardrobe curation for customers.
  • Help customers explore new brands and silhouettes they may not know yet.
  • Deliver a welcoming, club-like experience that sets BBRC apart from typical retail.
• Brand Storytelling & Education
  • Learn and share the heritage, values, and design inspiration of each brand we carry.
  • Be a walking representation of BBRC’s style and philosophy.
  • Assist in visual merchandising to keep the store fresh and inspiring.
• Community & Engagement
  • Support in-store events, brand activations, and collaborations (e.g. running club meetups, trunk shows).
  • Contribute ideas to engage BBRC’s growing community of like-minded customers.
  • Occasionally feature in or assist with content for BBRC’s social media (styling tips, lookbooks).
• Feedback & Insights
  • Act as the “ears on the ground” — sharing what customers are asking for, what resonates, and what’s missing.
  • Work closely with the store manager and brand experience manager to refine store offerings and service.

• Diploma or certificate in Fashion Merchandising, Design, or related field (preferred).
• Passionately curious about niche, curated fashion and open to continuous learning.
• Prior experience in fashion retail, customer-facing roles, or hospitality preferred.
• Passion for style and familiarity with menswear (Ivy, Americana, utilitarian, athleisure).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — friendly, confident, and approachable.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a small, agile team.
• Strong attention to detail with a natural eye for styling and presentation.
• Open to learning and growing with the BBRC brand.
