Executive Protection Officer – Asia-Pacific; APAC

Lares Risk Management is seeking experienced Executive Protection Officers to support our Embedded Services Program (ESP), delivering discreet and professional protective services for VVIPs and UHNW individuals across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region
.

This full-time embedded role requires individuals with a strong operational mindset, cultural awareness, and the ability to manage close protection tasks independently or as part of a team in high‑pressure environments. Selected personnel will operate across multiple countries, representing the highest standards of personal security, discretion, and professionalism.

• Provide protective coverage for clients during travel, public engagements, and private movements
• Conduct detailed advance work, threat assessments, and venue inspections
• Establish secure routes, emergency procedures, and contingency planning
• Liaise with local authorities, venues, and support teams to ensure seamless protection operations

• Maintain a low profile and provide unobtrusive but effective security presence
• Exhibit high levels of discretion, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity at all times
• Adapt protection approach to individual client preferences and lifestyle
• Anticipate client needs and ensure comfort, safety, and efficiency throughout travel

• Collaborate with logistics, transportation, and residential security teams
• Maintain situational awareness and real‑time threat monitoring across regions of operation
• Support secure travel planning, including visa and customs coordination, local liaison, and secure accommodations
• Prepare post‑operation reports and contribute to operational debriefs as required

• 10+ years of close protection or executive security experience
• Previous experience supporting VVIPs, UHNW individuals, or corporate executives
• Fluent in English; additional regional languages are an advantage
• Valid driver’s license; confident in defensive and secure driving practices
• Fit, alert, and capable of extended deployments or irregular hours
• Passport with regional travel capability

• Former military, police, or government protective service background
• Certification in Executive Protection, HEAT, Defensive Driving, First Aid/CPR
• Familiarity with GPS tracking, radio comms, mobile surveillance countermeasures
• Prior experience in multicultural environments and high‑stakes assignments

• Based in APAC (Singapore, Bangkok, or Vietnam)
• Frequent travel across the region required, often with short notice
• Availability during weekends, holidays, and non‑standard hours expected
• High standards of grooming, behavior, and professional conduct essential
