We are looking for a strong technical lead to help grow our Singapore engineering team. This role is primarily expected to be a strong independent contributor while also collaborating closely with product teams and providing technical direction. Our Singapore team allows us to push product initiatives forward during non‑US hours without distraction. We are looking for an experienced cornerstone to build the team around—one that can translate product vision into scalable features.
Whatyou will be doing
- Focusing primarily on high output software development leveraging state‑of‑the‑art GenAI code generation practices
- Taking on technical leadership of projects from ideation to deployment and release
- Collaborating closely with product managers to determine what is technically feasible to unlock a seamless user experience
- Reviewing pull requests, internally and externally to the team, to provide helpful feedback for stability and mentorship
- Innovating on creative technical solutions to difficult analog problems
- 5+ years of experience in Python/Go/Rust (or other object‑oriented language)
- 3+ years of experience with React
- 3+ years of experience working with data warehouses such as Snowflake, Databricks, or Redshift
- Experience in building and managing distributed systems
- Experience with AWS and Terraform (or equivalent)
- Experience in developing and optimizing end‑to‑end APIs, data‑flows, SQL queries and infrastructure for consumer or enterprise products
- Experience with event‑driven architecture and relevant technologies (Kafka, Rabbit
MQ, etc.) - Advanced knowledge of software engineering principles including design, source control management, build processes, automated deployments, code reviews, and testing methods
- Experience managing large‑scale critical production systems with minimum SLAs of 4 9’s
- Experience with Apache Spark
The standard base pay range for this role is 14,000 - 16,000 SGD monthly.
