Monday–Thursday 07:30–16:00, Friday 07:30–15:00

Our Client is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Engineer to join their office-based engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of the Southeast’s leading steel contract manufacturers, supporting projects for Tier 1 suppliers and OEMs.

Key Responsibilities:

* Produce accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models for sheet metal components and assemblies.

* Prepare quotations, costings, and material estimations for new and existing projects.

* Use ERP systems for job processing, routing, and BOM creation.

* Liaise with sales, production, and purchasing teams to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective.

* Review customer specifications and ensure compliance with manufacturing standards.

* Support continuous improvement initiatives and provide technical assistance to sales and production teams.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Engineer or similar role in fabrication/manufacturing.

* Strong knowledge of sheet metal processes (laser cutting, folding, welding, finishing).

* Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, Radan).

* Experience with ERP/MRP systems.

* Excellent interpretation of technical drawings and specifications.

* Strong communication and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
