Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Salary - £53,000 Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (Days & Nights, 6am-6pm)

Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for keeping production running smoothly? We're looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team and play a key role in maintaining and improving our manufacturing operations.

What You'll Do

Ensure the continuous running of production by eliminating downtime through safe, logical fault-finding and maintenance.
Work on a variety of equipment, including complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic control systems.
Carry out planned and reactive engineering activities on-site.

What We're Looking For

Apprentice-trained in a similar position (ideal).
Electrical qualifications such as C&G 2320 P1 & P2, ONC, NVQ 3, 18th Edition or equivalent.
Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Practical, hands-on approach with experience in:
Electrical fault finding and defect rectification.
Routine maintenance activities.
Mechanical fitting, hydraulics, and pneumatics (advantageous).
Ability to diagnose maintenance problems and provide accurate recommendations.
Excellent communication skills to work effectively with operatives and team leaders.
PLC knowledge is a plus.
