The Role of Mechanical Maintenance Technician As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the diverse range of equipment at the company's 32-acre site. Your key duties will include:
Responding to plant breakdowns to diagnose and resolve mechanical faults Performing routine preventative maintenance tasks as per the scheduled programme Contributing to equipment reliability improvements through failure analysis and root cause investigations Ensuring all maintenance activities are accurately recorded in the computerised maintenance management system What We're Looking For The ideal Mechanical Maintenance Technician will have:
Completed a recognised Mechanical Maintenance Apprenticeship and attained NVQ Level 3 or equivalent Extensive experience working on process plants, preferably in the chemical or oil and gas industry Strong health and safety awareness, with knowledge of permit to work and lock-out tag-out procedures Proficiency in using computerised maintenance management systems, such as SAP PM Why Join This Company?
