Laboratory Technician
Role located at ALS Sittingbourne, part of the Microbiology department. Responsible for testing a diverse range of finished food products and associated ingredients using a variety of analytical techniques.
Day to Day- Perform analysis as per documented methodology.
- Follow all processes and procedures to maximise role efficiency.
- Conduct daily quality control checks and calibrations of equipment.
- Maintain a clean and tidy workstation.
- Conform with all site Quality Management systems and Health & Safety procedures and protocols.
- Keep accurate records.
- Previous laboratory experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to read, understand and implement instructions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent time‑management skills.
- Methodical approach.
- Annual leave starting at 20 days, rising to 24.

Annual salary: £25,834 + £2,000 location allowance per annum.
