About the Role

The Team Accommodation Shift Manager will be responsible for the smooth delivery of the cleaning shift. Reporting to the Team Accommodation Manager, they will ensure daily operational plans are fulfilled, tasks and objectives are carried out by the team, and the team are in the right place at the right time to manage fluctuating demand while keeping operational standards and team experience high.

This role covers a 5‑day working week over 7 days, so flexibility is very important. As with all roles at Butlin's, no day will be the same; you will need to enjoy thinking on your feet, getting stuck in, and ensuring that guest experience is always your number one priority.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and coach the team to deliver a great experience and drive key metrics.
  • Ensure delivery of CAFF standards and drive improvements in Guest and Employee NPS.
  • Conduct quality control checks on the Mobaro system and lead feedback conversations.
  • Provide necessary training and support to the team.
  • Implement the initial 90‑day program for new team members and oversee all personnel‑related activities from onboarding through the full employee life cycle, including PDPs, performance management, and formal HR processes.
  • Set clear objectives and PDPs for the team, support team surveys, lead action plans, uphold brand standards, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Utilize operational knowledge of managing a cleaning or soft services team, juggling multiple priorities and adapting quickly to changing needs.
Qualifications
  • Previous leadership experience in a similar cleaning environment.
  • Extensive operational knowledge and ability to manage both permanent and temporary teams.
  • High standards, meticulous attention to detail, and a proven ability to inspire teams.
