CRP Subsea is looking for a Process Engineer to work in the Local Operations Team.

What Will You Do As Our Process Engineer

• Research, justify and implement new and improved manufacturing processes, ensuring they meet safety and efficiency standards.
• Review, design and plan department layouts, ensuring optimal workflow and safety within the production departments.
• Evaluate rework and reject levels for design, process and training improvement opportunities
• Institute process and product improvement – result will be a positive impact on production cycle time, production costs and product quality
• Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.
• Develop and evaluate equipment and process to produce a high-quality product at a competitive cost
• Lead the development of 5S and lean methodologies across the manufacturing community.
• Facilitate development of corrective actions to resolve manufacturing issues
• Review current and establish new manufacturing processes, ensuring process control and creation of clear SOP’s that can be used as part of the training package.
• Conduct manufacturing feasibility review; generate assembly instructions and tooling
• Provide technical direction, training and certification for operators performing detailed process steps to ensure that the team have necessary skills, appropriate documentation, tooling and process control capability.
• Ensure strict compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures with reference to health, safety and quality
• Carrying out any other reasonable duties that may be requested from time to time.

What Are We Looking For In Our Process Engineer

• Proven track record within a fast pace, demanding manufacturing environment
• Involvement in change initiatives and projects with a view to continual improvement
• Proficient in the use of CAD (AutoCAD minimum)

The Process Engineer will be expected to have the knowledge, skills and abilities to

• Effectively communicate

• Perform effective root cause analysis
• Deliver excellent customer satisfaction by continuously meeting and exceeding expectations
• Understand customer needs and develop interventions to fulfil requirements
• Ensure excellent service delivery through operational excellence

Education

• Degree, or equivalent, level in an engineering discipline
• Lean / Six Sigma qualification.
